I had originally made this kit for my own gun storage. I wanted to design a system that would allow me to store my shotguns and rifles in a simple, secure, scalable and organized manner. What I designed worked so well that I wanted to share it with others. The system is based on a common garage organizer rail system; similar to DIN rails. Using a rail system allows the system to support safes of different sizes and also expand to support closets and larger armoury rooms.
